And Some More Pictures...

A few more pictures for everyone

This is a typical Moscow perehod (transfer). These tunnels take you from the Metro station to the street level or sometimes just cross under the street. Many of them are lined with shops that sell jewelry and trinkets, baked goods, women's lingerie, and even Soviet memorabilia. This happens to be the one at Domodedovskaya, where I go to teach.

This is a Russian mall. Malls in Moscow are usually on the outskirts of town, except for a few notable malls in the center. This mall has about 80 stores or so, and looks out of place for the region its in.

This style of building is typical of Moscow, especially outside of the city center.

This is a mall located about 2-3 minutes walking away from my school. The inside is not much different than the inside of an American mall.

This is the school where I teach. Very Russian. It is essentially like a high school where my company rents out space.

  1. Keep them coming. I enjoy learning more about Russia and your experiences there.

Back from Costa Rica. Had a relaxing vacation with great weather.

Seems like people the world over are waiting for Obama to fix the global economic mess we're in...

    Love you,
    Mom
