The new teachers all began training this past Monday. Everyone seemed to be a bit scared at first, especially when we were forced to get in front of the class to present a lesson plan on the very first day. After that truly terrifying experience, everything has become much easier. The other teachers in training are quite friendly and we all tend to get along rather well, which has made the training more enjoyable than it could be.
The teachers who already work at Language Link seem to be friendly for the most part and have been very supportive as I am trying to find my bearings. This is quite fortunate, since I begin teaching lessons this following week. I am a little bit nervous, but I feel myself gaining more confidence with every passing day. Training will end this coming week and I will finally figure out where I am going to be placed. Thanks for all of the updates and warm wishes.

Glad to see you are enjoying the people you work with. It should get even more fun when you meet and get to know your students. Perhaps they will invite you into their homes as happened to me when I was sometimes teaching english to middle school kids when I was in France. Good luck. Have fun.
